SHUKLA MEDICAL prototypes surgical tools.
Introducing a case study of creating a prototype of surgical tools using the METAL X 3D printer!
Surgical instrument manufacturer Shukla Medical has reduced its annual costs by 3D printing prototypes of surgical instruments using "METAL X." "METAL X" offers various advantages over CNC machining, such as reduced lead time for prototypes and increased design freedom, enabling the production of tools with complex shapes. While CNC machining of metal prototypes takes 7 to 40 days for manufacturing, 3D printing of parts only takes 2.7 days. With "METAL X," more complex shapes can be tested, allowing for the avoidance of greater design risks. 【METAL X Features】 ■ FFF-based 3D printer capable of printing in metal ■ Uses filament that fuses metal powder with polymer materials ■ Compatible with various metal alloys, including A2 tool steel and D2 tool steel *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
